Guests and Visitors • The number of overnight guests may not exceed the occupancy limit stated in your reservation. • Reasonable daytime visitors are welcome, as long as they are respectful of the property, neighbors, and house rules. • No parties or events are allowed at any time. Quiet Hours • Quiet hours are from 10 PM – 8 AM (22:00 – 08:00). • Please be especially mindful of noise in outdoor areas and shared spaces during these times. No Smoking • No smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere inside the property. • Evidence of smoking indoors will result in an additional cleaning fee. Pets • No pets allowed. • Unauthorized pets may result in additional fees. Children & Infants • Children are welcome. • Infants (under 2 years old) are welcome. If you like coffee & a morning walk, check out either of two walkable coffee shops on A1A - Kookaburra & Sunrise Brew! Hot Spot Yoga is next to Sunrise Brew. There are plenty of local places to eat close by. Recommend Romano’s for Italian & Seafood Kitchen right up the street. Beachside diner is a local favorite for breakfast/ brunch. The beach also has drive on access from Dondanville Rd with 4x4 vehicles (for drive on, $10 day pass required 3/1-9/30). Walking onto the beaches is always completely free! Downtown (historic) St Augustine is just over the Bridge of Lions, less than 10 minutes north on A1A. You will find plenty of special places to stop in and enjoy along the way!
Guest Access
Each unit at the Madonna House has it's own private entrance. They are not inter-connected from the inside. Shared spaces include the backyard & parking areas (although there are 5 separate "lanes" to park in, so separate parties should be able to have their own lane at a minimum, based on occupancy). The back porch is considered part of the upstairs unit (The Sunset Suite).
Find us
A few notes on getting around - While the beach and casual dining are walkable, you will find plenty more to explore with a short drive! I suggest an uber if going downtown to avoid any parking hassle, but there are metered parking areas & a garage available there as well. If you're up for it, my personal favorite way to "do downtown" is to find free street parking on any side street, JUST before the Bridge of Lions... then take the BEAUTIFUL short walk over the bridge. You will see the BEST view of the whole city from there - amazing light & the best photos! One last tip - if it’s your first time in St. Aug, I highly recommend the Trolly Tours! Hop on & hop off all day. It's fantastic for all ages.
